These terms govern your use of Eddy. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Eddy.
The service
Eddy connects developers, client sites, and GitHub repositories so non-technical clients can request content changes that are turned into code updates. Features may change over time. We try to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Accounts
- Developers must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for who you invite to a project.
- You must have the rights to connect any repository, hosting account, or client site you add.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Eddy for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
- Attempt to access data or systems you are not authorized to use
- Interfere with the service, its users, or connected third-party platforms
- Submit change requests that fall outside reasonable content and styling updates
Eddy is designed for content and styling changes — not full feature development. Requests that exceed that scope may be declined.
Client access
When you invite a client or share a review link, you control their access to your project. You are responsible for explaining what they may change and for reviewing work before it reaches production.
Third-party services
Eddy integrates with services such as GitHub, Google, Firebase, and hosting providers you choose. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or data handling outside Eddy.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your code, sites, and content. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service — for example, to store project metadata, process requests, and interact with repositories you connect.
Disclaimer
Eddy is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that automated changes will be error-free or suitable for production without your review.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eddy and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using Eddy at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if needed to protect the service or other users. Sections that should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated terms on this page and update the date above.
